  • While you may have the liberty to enjoy the cruise because you have your own captain, it can really be costly on your part because of overhead expense not just on the captains fee, but on other incidentals as well (such as food, liquor, bigger boat to have rooms to accommodate the crew).
  • You can be the captain of your rented yacht but only after certain qualifications are met. Your technical skills and background will be checked – not just for the upkeep of the boat but also of course, for the safety of everyone on board.
