Fun Halloween Costumes for Couples

Halloween is a great opportunity that happens once a year where you can really and literally be whoever you want to be! While its still fun to dress spooky and creepy, there are other themes and costumes that you can enjoy. What’s best is that these costumes can be made not just for you but for you and your loved one and come together as partners.

There is nothing better than coming to a Halloween party and dress up like a pair and still look spooky or funny. While everyone else has an axe stuck in their head, there are other creative ways on how you can dress up and have the best costume of them all.

These pairs are famous, fun, and just perfect for a costume party. It is a lot better if you would choose a pair that is really unexpected from how your friends or the guests know you as a couple.

    * Costumes as well-known couples – Dress-up as Tarzan and Jane for some jungle appeal, or be more fashionable as Barbie and Ken, or heat up the room dress up as a Playboy Bunny and well, Hugh Hefner (okay, forget about heating up the room). When you come in as a bride, your friends will really laugh once they see Frankenstein as your groom – literally spooky yet romantic.

    * Reverse roles – Still dress-up as couples but have the guy dress up as the female character and the gal as the male character.

    * Couples on the small screen – Bring Fred and Wilma to life and let the fun roll. Reality stars Spencer and Heidy or ‘Speidy’ and ex-couple Jon and Kate – well, now this is creepy.

    * Big screen pairs – Dress up as Brangelina or Bella and Edward for that classic vampire appeal but made romantic of course because of the Twilight Series. Have a third wheel? Get Team Jacob to dress it up as well.

    * Themed couples – a cowboy and cowgirl, a pirate and a slave, or a 19th century couple dressed in all their classic glory. Have your partner dress up as the magician and you as the lovely assistant but add a little twist buy having fake blood drip from your stomach or in your neck. Want something sexier and kinkier? Come in as a pair of an old man and a french maid – now that’s enough to make Frankenstein leave his bride for you.

    * Things in pairs – Dress up like salt and pepper or a peanut butter jar and jelly – just the perfect combinations; things that always go together. Plug and socket or bread and a tube of butter –are some funny costumes that a couple can pull-off.

These are great alternatives to dressing up as mummies or ghosts. Make your costumes lovely and spooky at the same time, and get ready for a lot of laughs and fun. With all these choices, you can have different costumes year after year.

You can make them yourself or you can look up stores that sell or rent funny costumes.
