While there are many companies offering their employee leasing services, here are some things you can consider before engaging in their service.  
•    Identify specific company activities and processes you can outsource – Check your workflow and see which ones you can outsource. Specifically choose those activities wherein productivity and quality will not be sacrificed even if you outsource these services. Do not outsource sensitive and critical company activities, particularly those involving information security and other confidential aspects.
•    Get proposals from different providers. Get their client list, rates and get to know their screening process as well. This can help you identify which leasing service truly fits your requirements and understands your needs. Know that there are leasing companies that specialize in particular aspects only and not all business processes.
•    Conduct a meeting with them to know what you expect from them and you can also take this opportunity to negotiate the rates.
•    Get a lawyer to handle all documentation. Put everything in black and white so there will be no gray areas that can cause you headache once your partnership starts.
•    Monitor the transition period. This is normally a 4- month period where the leasing company can get hold of the software and systems, among others that is crucial to their service delivery.
•    Service delivery – Ensure that the leasing service complies with the headcount , rates and work hours that you have stipulated in the contract during the service delivery or contract period.
•    Have time tables where you can evaluate the quality of the output from the employee services. Remember that it is not only for cost-saving measures that you are leasing services, but ensure that quality output is met as well.
